The roots of decoloniality go deep into modern African history. Debates have circulated across the continent and beyond to define an African epistemè freed from colonialism. Production of new forms of knowledge have thus mobilized African academics, intellectuals and decision-makers for decades inside and outside universities. In this podcast, Dr. Hisham Aidi explores the main topics and trends of such debates that have aimed at defining what an African and Africa-centered production of norms and perceptions can mean.
