حديث الثلاثاء: قراءة في تحولات موازين القوى في منطقة الساحل

ترتبط التحديات الأمنية بالمنطقة المغاربية ارتباطا قويا بحالة عدم الاستقرار السائدة في منطقة الساحل، حيث تواجه هاتين المنطقتين أزمات أمنية كبرى تُؤثر فيموازين القوة بشكل أصبح يؤثر مباشرة على الأجندة السياسية في منطقة الساحل التي تشهد ديناميات جديدة، تتعدي إلى دول شمال إفريقيا والاتحاد الأوروبي أيضًا ما يضع تحت المجهر التنافس الدولي وإعادة تشكيل التوازنات في المنطقة.

سنحاول خلال هذه الحلقة فهم الديناميات الجديدة لمنطقة الساحل من الجانب الهيكلي المتعلق بوظائف الدولة وإقرار الأمن، وكذا الجانب السياسي المتعلق بتحول المنطقة إلى بؤرة للإرهاب وهو الوضع الذي استقطب مزيدًا من التدخل الأجنبي، سواء التقليدي منه كما تمثله فرنسا والغرب، أو المستجد كما تمثله روسيا والصين، الشيء الذي يدفع النخب المحلية، سواء العسكرية أو المدنية، إلى إعادة النظر في حساباتها السابقة، بما في ذلك تحالفاتها التقليدية خصوصًا مع توافر بدائل أخرى.

Akram Zaoui is a Senior Specialist and Chargé de Mission to the Executive President at the Policy Center for the New South (PCNS). Prior to this, he was Manager of Research Support and the Public Policy Lab at the PCNS. His main area of research interest is the geopolitical economy of the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region. From 2018 to 2020, Zaoui coordinated a network of 70+ civil society organizations (CSOs), working with local communities, public authorities, and private companies. His responsibilities included managing administrative and financial affairs, communications, development, fundraising, operations, and strategic planning. Imane Lahrich
Head – Research Valorization
Imane Lahrich is the Head of Research Valorization Department, having previously served as a Partnerships & Research Support Officer at the Policy Center for the New South since 2019. She mainly worked on security-development related projects. She has experience as a Project Manager in a Strategic Intelligence firm (2017-2019) and as a research consultant in the MENA region, focusing on international development and the Rule of Law. Imane Lahrich holds a Master's in Political Studies and a Bachelor's in Political Science from Mohammed V University of Rabat.
