In a large majority of countries political leaders have tried to place regional integration in the center of their economic growth and development strategies, yet, despite all attempts, Africa remains one of the least integrated regions of the world. How can this gap be explained? Did globalization benefit African nations more than regional integration? Why is the abundance of natural resources at times rather negative than good for Africa’s economies? In this Podcast, Oumnia Boutaleb shares her insights on the matter.
