Nadia Makara

Nadia is a civil engineer who is passionate about applying her engineering knowledge to solve water, environment, and climate change challenges. She obtained her BE in Environmental Engineering at the Grove School then later her MSc in Civil and Environmental Engineering at Stanford University. She currently consults with the World Bank on disaster risk management projects in the Caribbean and works as a Program Development Officer with WaterAid America, focusing on Southeast Asia.
