Morten Seja is an Economic Growth Consultant, currently guiding governments in the Middle East on public support programs to incentivize the growth of nascent industries for the World Bank. He focuses particularly on innovation policy and technology sectors, and designs government support interventions for high-potential entrepreneurs. Previously he was a Senior Manager for Adam Smith International, a British management consulting firm. Based in conflict-torn northern Nigeria, he managed an economic growth and skills development program that aimed to place 68,000 marginalized young people in productive jobs.
Prior to his economic development and management consulting work, Morten held positions in academia, public policy, and the finance sectors.
Morten holds a Master of Science Degree in Foreign Services with a focus on International Relations and Security from Georgetown University and a Bachelor of Science Degree in Economics with a focus on International Economics and Econometrics from the University of Münster.
