Gabriela Keseberg Dávalos is an independent senior consultant specializing in international politics, focusing on the Global South and the European Union. Until mid-2024, she served as the Director of Global Public Affairs at Southern Voice, a network of 70 think tanks from the Global South researching sustainable development and UN-related topics. Currently a Southern Voice Fellow of Practice, Gabriela represents the network as a Steering Committee member in the 1 for 8 Billion campaign advocating for a woman UN Secretary-General.
Previously, she was a senior foreign policy advisor to MEP Alexander Graf Lambsdorff (Germany) during his tenure as Vice President of the European Parliament for Human Rights and Democracy and a senior communications officer at the International Crisis Group. Gabriela is a journalist and political scientist whose articles and podcasts have appeared in prestigious publications such as Die Zeit, El País, and the Washington Post.
Fluent in German, English, and Spanish, Gabriela excels as a speaker, moderator and facilitator at conferences, seminars, and workshops across these languages. She is recognized for her contributions as a UN Alliance of Civilizations Fellow (2012), an Atlantic Dialogues Fellow (2013), and a Marshall Memorial Fellow (2014).
