Dulce María Guevara is currently a legislative advisor in the Mexican Senate, and a young associate with the Mexican Council of Foreign Affairs (COMEXI).
Prior to this, she worked as a department head at Mexico’s Instituto Federal de Acceso a la Información y Protección de Datos (IFAI), where she focused on global open government projects and transparency and accountability in Latin America. She has also worked as a migration assistant for the Embassy of Canada in Mexico. Guevara holds a master’s degree in international relations from Instituto Technológico Autónomo de México (ITAM), and she is currently pursuing a master’s degree in law at the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México.
