Avril Perry is an aspiring screenwriter based in New York City.
Previously, she was on the business development team of IFM Investors, an Australian infrastructure fund manager. Prior to joining IFM Investors, Avril spent several years supporting international development and tech startups in sub-Saharan Africa. She was a Director at Insider, a D.C.-based pubic relations firm for African entrepreneurs attracting investment in the United States. During her years living in Liberia and Ethiopia, Avril developed strategic communications for several United Nations agencies, international NGOs, and MEST, a pan-African technology incubator.
Avril holds an MBA from Oxford University and a Master of Science in International Management for the Middle East and North Africa from London's School of Oriental and African Studies.
