She is responsible for the strategies of the alcoholic beverage industry in Mexico, which cover fiscal, regulatory, governmental and institutional strengthening issues. She is the author of the book: El Turno es Nuestro, published by Editorial Planeta in 2020. Partner at KIIK, a consultancy specialized in transforming the culture of organizations and companies to face challenges in diversity, equity, inclusion, inclusive leadership and professional development. Speaker on topics of leadership, corporate and organizational culture, gender, inclusion, diversity, pay equity, mentoring and professional development. She was responsible for social, environmental and governmental affairs at the energy company EMPower. She has been director of Lala Institucional, Executive Director of Cerveceros de México and Director of Public Affairs at Strategic Affairs Consulting. She worked in the public administration as coordinator of the President's agenda, as head of the Office of the President of the Senate and director of Public Relations for the “Marca México” project. She has collaborated in media such as El Financiero, Forbes Mexico and Bloomberg TV. She has also been an editorial advisor for the Business and Buena Mesa sections of Grupo Reforma. Maribel is Fellow of the Working Group of Women, Gender and Diversity in Foreign Policy at (COMEXI) and a member of the Equity and Inclusion Commission of the Consejo Coordinador Empresarial (CCE). She is an independent advisor to Orca Loans and Procura AC. She is a member of the Mexico Chapter of the International Women’s Forum (IWF) and a member of the Mexico in Movement Association.
