Theodora Skeadas is a public policy professional with 11 years of experience at the intersection of technology, society, and safety. Theodora works as a DoorDash's Community Policy Manager, helping build trust and safety policies. As Chief of Staff with Humane Intelligence, she contributes to the development of hands-on, measurable methods of real-time assessments of societal impact of AI models. Previously, she worked as an independent consultant with non-profits, governments, and companies on issues including AI governance, tech-facilitated gender-based violence, government efforts to combat disinformation, information integrity, journalist safety, fraud, election integrity, and AI philanthropy. At Twitter, she managed the Trust and Safety Council, a research hub, and a trusted flaggers program for human rights defenders, and she supported global civic integrity, transparency, and crisis response efforts. Theodora graduated from Harvard College in 2012 with a B.A. in Philosophy and Government, and minors in Near Eastern Languages and Civilizations, Modern Standard Arabic, and Modern Greek.
