UfM Youth Forum: Mediterranean Youth Building Inclusive Entrepreneurial Ecosystems and Alf Debate

Fahd Azaroual economist at the policy center for the new south ,has been selected by the head of the Mediterranean Youth in Action program at the Anna Lindh Foundation (ALF) to participate in the Union for the Mediterranean Youth Forum and the public event of the ALF. This event, which will be held in Finland from September 16 to 18, 2024, will be followed by a public event of the Anna Lindh Foundation on September 19, 2024.

The Forum aims to bring together young people, policymakers, private sector representatives, social partners, and other stakeholders from the Mediterranean region to exchange insights and best practices, foster dialogue, collaboration, and set a course for future initiatives. This gathering provides a unique platform for participants to share their experiences and strategies on addressing common challenges and promoting sustainable development in the region.

In addition to his participation, Fahd Azaroual will moderate the fourth session of the forum, titled "Harnessing Innovation in Digital Technologies for Youth Engagement." This session will explore the transformative role of digital tools and responsible innovation in enhancing youth participation in multilateral decision-making processes.

The event will be preceded by an interactive experience, the “C-ROADS Climate Workshop,” which will gather young people from both shores of the Mediterranean. This experience will help the young participants to know better each other and sheds light on the role of youth and entrepreneurship at the centre of strategies mitigating it.
