Valeria Scuto is a Civil-Military Engagement Staff Officer at the NATO Strategic Direction – South Hub at the Joint Force Command Naples. Prior to this, Valeria was a Principal Analyst at Sibylline, covering social, political, security and economic developments in the Middle East and North Africa. Her previous professional experiences include working on defence policy and planning at the Supreme Headquarters Allied Powers Europe. She has also worked on gender equality, countering hate speech, and media literacy at the UNESCO National Office for Palestine, and on inclusive diplomatic dialogue projects with Independent Diplomat. Valeria holds an MSc in Conflict Studies from the London School of Economics and Political Science and is a published author in the Journal for Deradicalization.
