Pedro Vormittag

Based in Rio de Janeiro, Pedro Vormittag is a Deputy Director at CEBRI, the Brazilian Center for International Affairs, the leading foreign policy think tank in Brazil and South America. Pedro holds a Master's degree in International Relations from Columbia University and a Master's in International Management from the São Paulo School of Business Administration at the Getulio Vargas Foundation (FGV-EAESP). At Columbia, Pedro served as Editor of the Columbia Journal of International Affairs and was a Person of the Year Fellow by the Brazilian-American Chamber of Commerce, and was the Academic Director of the Association of Latin American Students. 

A lawyer trained at the University of São Paulo Law School, also served as the Content Head for the LEGADO Program, an educational platform envisioned by President Fernando Henrique Cardoso. At the São Paulo School of Commerce, a Higher Education Institution affiliated with the São Paulo Chamber of Commerce, Pedro was a Professor for the institution's inaugural sustainable development course and taught subjects such as International Law, Customs Legislation, and Foreign Trade. 

In public administration, Pedro worked for the São Paulo City Hall as the Deputy Coordinator of Youth Policies for the Human Rights Secretariat (2018) and as the Director of the Sports and Leisure Secretariat (2019).
