Mohamed Ibrahim Hafez is a Researcher at Nottingham Trent University’s Centre for Policy, Citizenship, and Society. His work focuses on trade policy, economic integration, and political cooperation in the MENA region. Beyond academia, he works as an independent consultant, supporting market research and consulting firms. Previously, Hafez served as a Policy Advisor at Egypt's Ministry of Investment and an economic researcher at the General Authority for Investment and Free Zones, as well as a Corporate Finance Analyst at Qatar National Bank. He holds an MSc in Political Economy of Development from SOAS, University of London, as a Chevening Scholar. Additionally, he has held research fellowships at the University of Cambridge, the European University Institute, and the Asia Global Institute.
