Julia is a Communications, Public Affairs and Events Specialist. Born in Romania and raised in France, she spent 7 years in the United States (NYC) where she studied, and worked.
Julia currently lives in Paris where she is Senior Events Manager at INSEAD Business School and responsible for Advancement and Institutional events worldwide. Formerly, she was Parliamentary Associate at the French National Assembly, and prior she worked as a Public Affairs Manager at SAMMAN law & corporate affairs.
Before joining the firm, Julia was the European Network for Women in Leadership (WIL) General Manager. WIL is a platform for European women in senior management positions, aimed at leveraging their participation in leadership, by organizing high-level networking events that enable them to connect and exchange.
Women empowerment as well as gender equality are her true passion and commitment, both professionally and personally.
Previously, she worked at the Development department of the W. J. Clinton Foundation, before being Count Me In for Women’s Economic Independence (CMI) Programs Manager. The supervision of all programs dedicated to help women business owners increase their revenues and create new jobs, was her main responsibility.
Julia has an extensive background organizing high-level events in the public, private, non-profit, and academic sectors. A well-founded ground was acquired right from the start of her career as a trainee at the French Embassy’s Cultural Services and the Events department of the French Consulate in NYC. Prior to joining CMI, she worked as an Event Coordinator for Creative Edge Parties. At this NYC based catering company, she was responsible for their events production and development within the international and European markets.
She has a BA in Law and a Master’s in Political Sciences from the University of Rennes, France. She also holds a Master’s in Public Affairs from Baruch College, NYC.
