Hamza Saidi is currently the Project Manager at the Konrad Adenauer Stiftung’s Regional Program for Energy Security and Climate Change in the Middle East and North Africa (KAS – REMENA), based in Rabat, Morocco. He plays a pivotal role in managing and executing dialogue programs, training sessions, and workshops across the MENA region, focusing on resource security, climate change, and sustainable development. In this capacity, Hamza collaborates with local NGOs, international institutions, Think Tanks, and government agencies, fostering multi-stakeholder engagement to address policy, geopolitical, and societal challenges related to resource security and the climate crisis in the MENA region, with a focus on its connections to the EU. In parallel, he is a Wilson Center ACYF Fellow, United Nation Alliance of Civilizations (UNAOC) Fellow, and U.S Department of State Professional Fellow. He is a passionate advocate for sustainable development, and actively participates in global initiatives such as the World Economic Forum's Global Shapers Community. He served as an adjunct professor at Mohammed V University of Rabat, Regional Research Assistant at Global Young Academy, a cultural mediator promoting intercultural dialogue, and a storyteller preserving cultural heritage. Hamza Saidi holds an MA in sociolinguistics and is dedicated to supporting green entrepreneurship and sustainable development initiatives in the MENA region.
